More than that, we create fun, joyful, and totally relaxed experiences where you can be yourself, laugh lots, and celebrate life's little and big wins.

We're called Moments because every photo we take preserves a memory — a fleeting laugh, a milestone, a connection — turning it into something you can treasure forever. Every session is about more than just pictures; it's about celebrating you, your story, and the moments that matter.

Our sessions take place at Montrose Studios, a friendly, comfortable, and easily accessible space designed to make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Conveniently located near major transport links and the motorway, the studio is easy to reach by car or public transport — and we offer free on-site parking for all clients.

The studio itself is a large, dynamic space perfect for individuals and families. There's plenty of room to move around, feel relaxed, and bring along outfits or props. If you need assistance, an accessible loading lift is available to help with everything. We also have a dedicated hair and makeup area where Paige works her magic before your shoot, along with tea and coffee.

We're two creatives with a shared love for beautiful styling, meaningful celebrations and all the little details that make a moment feel magical. We started Moments by Montrose because we wanted to create something that felt like us — warm, thoughtful, personal and full of heart.

Between us, we bring creativity, big ideas, an eye for the details that truly matter and more importantly, good times and a lot of laughs. We love working closely with our clients, getting to know you and your moments, and turning it into something that feels effortless, special and completely unforgettable.

Meet Paige

Hair & Makeup Artist

Hi, I'm Paige! A hair and makeup artist with nearly a decade of experience across bridal, editorial, TV, and film. I've been lucky enough to work with high-end celebrities and major productions including Netflix, Disney+, BBC, and ITV, which means I know exactly how to create polished, camera-ready looks that truly shine on set.

I'm a self-confessed perfectionist, and hair and makeup isn't just my job, it's my absolute passion. I'm with you from start to finish: creating your bespoke look, staying on set for touch-ups, calming nerves, fixing flyaways, and making sure you feel amazing every time you step in front of the camera.

I'm always up for a laugh and don't take myself too seriously, but when it comes to the job, I can absolutely put the professional hat on and deliver flawless results. More than anything, I want you to enjoy the experience. My role goes far beyond hair and makeup, I'm there to hype you up, help you feel relaxed, and make you feel like a celebrity for the day.

Outside of work, I'm a total sun girl who loves the pool or the sea... though the sand on the beach — Not for me! I'm a big fan of Emo/Rock music (Bayside being my FAVE), I also love house, garage, and R&B. I'm a massive gaming nerd, and one of my favourite ways to unwind is staying in and playing PlayStation with my husband. I love a glass of red wine or Prosecco, and if I'm feeling fancy, champagne is definitely happening. Basically... sun, tunes, gaming, and a cheeky drink — that's my vibe.

Meet Sophie

Photographer & Studio Owner

Hi, I'm Sophie — photographer, studio owner, set builder, professional hype-woman, the face behind Montrose Studios & one half of Moments by Montrose. I opened Montrose at just 21 years old (yes, I had no idea how much coffee I'd consume over the next decade), and I've spent nearly ten years building it into the dynamic creative space it is today.

I actually started out in front of the camera — which, ironically, was not my most comfortable position. But life has this funny way of redirecting you. After going through personal tragedy, the world of photography became my outlet... then my passion... and eventually, my career. I opened Montrose Studios to give myself an outlet, a place to express myself, and somehow it became the very thing that helped me rebuild and grow into who I am today. Montrose was born from that transformation, and Moments by Montrose came naturally from the creative partnerships and friendships I've been lucky enough to build along the way.

I've learned everything I know from an incredibly talented creative circle who took me under their wing and taught me the craft from every angle. That's why I approach photography with a unique perspective; I've been in the spotlight and behind the lens. I know exactly how uncomfortable, awkward, or unsure it can feel on set, and that experience is what allows me to guide you with confidence, warmth, and just the right dose of humour!

Yes, I'm committed to clean perfection and luxury-level quality in my images — crisp editing, refined lighting, and timeless composition. But my on-set manner? Absolutely not clinical. Think: professional, but also your chatty, no filtered, friendly sidekick who's genuinely rooting for you. I'll guide every pose, cheer you on, and probably make you laugh when you least expect it. By the time we're done, you'll feel like you've spent an hour with a friend... who just so happens to also give you some amazing images.

Outside of the studio, life is full-on in the best way. I'm a mum to two very energetic boys (which means multitasking is basically a superpower at this point). Family is everything to me, and when I'm not wrestling children/stepping on lego or behind the camera, you'll most likely find me editing with a coffee in hand or at an indie/rock gig pretending my body doesn't hurt. Photography, music, family — that's pretty much my world. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Consultation

We'll start with a chat on the phone to go over the vision for the shoot and what you'd like to achieve. We'll also chat about Hair and Makeup, check for any allergies and confirm who will be attending the shoot so everything is prepared for the day.

Makeover

On the day, Paige our Hair & Makeup artist will pamper you with professional hair styling and makeup application.

The Session

Relaxed, guided photography in our beautiful studio. Sophie will direct you every step of the way.

Within 1-2 weeks, your stunning images are delivered via a private online gallery.
